Keeping our Papa busy!

Papa's visit has been filled with trips to and from school, trip up the mountain to see the Fall colors, sending Papa off to rehab his shoulder at Justin's clinic, birthday parties to family and stuffed animals, decorating cupcakes, too many Home Depot trips to count, and a list of projects with Papa as the wise mastermind and Justin and Garrett as the healthy arms for getting the projects done. We usually only get Manga Papa time in long weekends so we are treasuring the extra days! Thanks Manga for letting us steal Papa away for so long! We can't wait until you're out here for Halloween. Get some rest, we have a long list of places we're taking you:)

Showing Papa the coat room at school with their name tags...

I love pictures of these guys wearing their backpacks! They look so mature. These are the same backpacks Manga and Papa go them when they were only one year old and now they're so proud to put them on all by themselves.

The swagger wagon! We will do an official minivan post soon but so far we are loving the van! Dre will get in and say, "Nice minivan mom!" We've had to reconfigure the seats to avoid sibling battles in the backseat and I'm sure there is more rearranging to be done in the near future!

Cozy babes watching Shrek with Papa while Justin and I went to sign for the minivan. We had it recorded on DVR and apparently the baseball game cut off the last bit of the movie. If you ask Carter she'll tell you that, "Papa's not very good at it!" Referring to the remote control and DVR.

Justin took the kids and Papa to the mountains to enjoy the Fall colors followed by pizza at Woody's. Life is good!

I stole an idea from the 4tunate blog to make owls with oreos, m&m's and cupcakes. They turned out to look somewhat like owls and the kids and Papa had fun making them. And really, how can you go wrong with all of that chocolate! What doesn't look pretty still tastes great! After we got them assembled, we got out the candles and sang Happy Birthday to the kids beanie babies. Why not?

Papa is having so much fun! I have heard about some of that fun from Papa's stories (that he isn't good with the remote)...but it is great to see pictures!
Enjoy Papa and Aunt Ali!
