Another awesome family vacation to San Diego in the books. This place never gets old and when we are there I want to relocate and stay forever. Blonde headed kids with flat tan feet from surfing all day long...I could dig that!
My Aunt Marcia graciously flies us out every year and makes it a trip to remember. She took the kids to the wild animal park on Saturday with Linda and Marv and Carter's favorite moment was "coming face to face with a lion!"
Linda is a retired teacher and just has a way with kiddos. After they saw bats at the safari park she read them the story "Bella Luna"
We didn't make it to the ocean beach but here are a few pics from the bay beach and a #keepingitreal moment following the pics...

Children smiling, buckets and sand, and I could lie to you all and tell you that this moment was puppy dogs and rainbows but let's be real for a moment. Here's how this whole 15 minutes went down...
Justin takes Dre on a run so I pack up Carter as Pierce and we head to the small bay beach.
Before we unload the car carter is having a fit because she saw justin run by and I wouldn't let her run through the parking lot to see him because he had already left.
Carter following me yelling and crying to the beach repeating "I want to go back to the hotel!" And me thinking "Da na na na naaaa" (90's rap song anyone?)
She calms down after 10 mins then pierce is crying because he wants to pour sand on Carter's sand castle. 5 minutes of P crying and me deciding we have to abandon ship and call it quits. Wet child strapped in car seat against his wishes which makes me look like I am kidnapping him (anybody ever been here??) and off we go to find justin mid jog and swap kids. So don't be fooled by pictures people!!!
Loved this SUP with dog leading the way.
More pool paradise.
On Sunday night they have music in the park so we enjoyed some KFC and lots of kids running amuck. Marcia and Linda found "bubble Juggle" which apparently is on infomercials because all the kids had heard of these crazy bubbles. You blow the bubbles and you can catch them/bounce them with these bright orange mitts. It was a hit with all the kids!
Carter and Linda synchronized dancing:)
