We spent a morning enjoying clear creek in Golden. They have a little beach area and the kids loved making mini dams and watching all of the tubers go by.

Rainy day took us to the mall carousel. Dre preferred the bench seat and after standing up with the kids I can see why! It was a little fast.
We had one day where it just rained ALL day. Nice for a change and Pierce and Carter enjoying making things float down the gutters and moving water from downspouts to the gutter. Man was it cold! Dre avoided the wet and cold and decided to stay inside and play Legos:)
Belleview park is one of our favorites. I grew up a few miles from this park and still have fond memories of the train ride, petting zoo, and little creek where you can catch crawdad's.
They'll be great if we ever move to a dairy farm!
While at clear creek today Dre finally took off his socks and shoes and let his feet get wet and a little sandy. He's the kid who can't stand the feeling of wet sand on his feet. We are headed to San Diego in a few weeks so if anybody has words of wisdom to get this guy to enjoy the beach please share!!
