First day of First Grade

This is the first day of all day school. When I pretend to get sad and sob while saying "my babies, you can't leave me all day!" Dre will reapond, "you can do lots of stuff now mom and you won't have to rush back to get us!"

Such a sweet boy:) 

Carter was actually sobbing before we left for school because I didn't finish sewing her seat back cover the night before. At one point I told her she had to get a grip or I would have to take her to school late. She turned the corner and was ready for school. You can see the tears in the first pic.

And p enjoying being an only child with mom and dad and playing in the creek. This is going to be fun!

Addendum: just picked Carter up from school with seat cover in hand and she told me that she and one other girl were the only ones without covers;)
