As I read facebook friends express their gratitude this month I thought I would throw a gratitude post on our blog. I was outside raking leaves with Pierce earlier this week and as I was raking up piles he was busy running his giant Tonka truck through each pile while making truck noises and laughing. Some may call that negative help:)
As I watched this sweet little guy I was overcome with a huge sense of gratitude. In that moment I was thankful for a job that allows me to be with my kids during the week and take in these priceless moments. I also thought of my friends and family whom have children that are dealing with illnesses, organ transplants, and those precious few that have lost children before they even took their first breath here on this earth.
So here is my prayer as I write this blog. Please God never let me take my children or their health for granted. For I know that when my tank is empty and my patience is low those parents who never got to hold their babies would do anything for an opportunity to hug their frustrated little one and cover them with love. And Lord never let me be to "busy" to enjoy the stories, smiles, and sometimes endless chatter for some day this house will be too quiet for this mama. And since these sweet blessings are yours God, take all of that useless worry away and instead let my heart simply sit back and enjoy precious moments like these. AMEN!
Phillipians 4:6 Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Fortunate are your children ~ Pierce, Dreyton, Carter ~ to have a momma that prays for them, even when they do not know it. I pray for you. Aunt b
They are little blessings...but don't worry, they turn into big blessing! Enjoy them, what ever phase they are!
