We actually got the idea from the kids swim lessons. On one of the last days they brought out the life jackets and you would have thought they just cut the reigns on Carter and set her free. She was a fish in the water! And she loved being able to motor around the pool without much assistance. When I told Justin about it he was the one that told me about these puddle jumpers, so off to Target we went.
The nice thing is that they both enjoy wearing them and love to show off how they can "swim" in the water all by themselves. With mommy in arm distance of course, you never know! I see many more pool days in our future...
Our neighborhood pool actually has a fabulous baby pool that the kids enjoy and I can plop my preggo body in and get cooled off a little bit.

I'm so happy that you guys are getting more pool time! There is nothing like being in the swimming pool on a hot summer day! I love their new "flotation devices"... very cute, and seem to work very well! Also glad to hear that you are getting to relax in the baby pool too, you deserve it... Dario needs some pool time too :-)
