Day at the creek

The run off was so high this year that tubing down Clear Creek has been limited until the past couple of weeks. But finally the sun was out, the tubing conditions were just right, so let the floating begin. The kids took longer than expected naps so we were too late to get any pics of the tubers but we did enjoy the evening BBQ and dipping our toes in the water.

Uncle Ray took a dive in the rapids with Koda hot on his tail. Koda was so happy to be swimming that he was barking like a sea lion.


We found a nice shallow spot on the banks where the kids could enjoy throwing rocks and filling up and emptying their cups with creek water.


It didn't take Austin long to get in the chilly water! The kids loved watching him pick up rocks bigger than his head and chucking them into the middle of the creek.


The kids are a little young to float down the creek but Travis, Taylor, and Morgan gave them some crazy dry land tube rides.
