Preschoolers

The first day of preschool couldn't have been any better. Thankfully the drop off was uneventful. I was busy talking to the director about Dre's epi pen and Justin got the kids settles into their class. No big deal, just a hug and a kiss and a "see you later!" Justin took the day off so our three hour "hot date" included a workout at the rec center, a trip to Home Depot, and a stop at the grocery store. Justin's quote, "when was the last time we were at a grocery store together without kids?" I couldn't even remember!

The before the first day of school pictures. They were so excited it was hard to get them to sit for a picture and then I had them looking into the sun. We'll get this all figured out some day!

Giving Daddy a big hug before we left the house. They were dressed with their backpacks on and chomping at the bit to get out of the door!

Their preschool classroom. If you look close enough you can see Dre in the corner with his shorts on backwards. This is one of those things that makes me smile every day! And if he gets his shorts on right his undies are backwards. Too cute!

When we picked up the kids Carter came running over while Dre stayed back to help clean up his toys. A little girl was sitting in the middle of the room and looked at us and said, "You forgot one of your kids!" Three year olds, they're priceless!

What a great start to "school". Sounds like everyone was ready for the day! Love the cubbie boxes...and all the toys...and other sweet 3 year olds.
