The Three Piggy Opera

The kids just had their first grade music program titled "The Three Piggy Opera" They had all three classes perform the opera separately so we enjoyed two twenty minute performances. Carter was a piggy in her performance and to Dre's liking he only had to sing. No narrator or character:) 

They both did a great job and it turns out

Carter thrives in the spotlight. She had two little singing parts and grabbed that microphone and sang with no fear. Sweet girl. She told me she no longer wants to be a cheerleader, she wants to do plays:) She couldn't believe that they didn't start on a new play the following Monday and Dre was trilled that he didn't have to practice the opera again. They are a great compliment to one another!
