Girls night out..

A mother/daughter kinda girls night out:) I saw some fliers for the local high school Cinderella musical and asked my friend Kim and her daughter Claire to join us. We had some yummy Mexican and headed to the show. Carter had been counting down the hours all day so my hope was that she wouldn't lose interest halfway through. Well this girl was literally at the edge of her balcony seat the whole time. Pretending to conduct the orchestra, shouting "Ewww!" when Cinderella and the Prince kissed (high school girls around us got a kick out of that one!) and wide eyed at the singing and dancing. At intermission they had a raffle and as we were coming back from the bathroom we asked if it was too late to buy tix and he said we were the last ones. They pulled tickets for various prizes and the last was for the Cinderella quilt. We were right up front when they called the ticket and when he yelled "Shannon Rossetter" Carter squealed! What an awesome prize. The lady that made it loved that it went to a little girl that got all dressed up for the show.
