Carter and I were at church when I got a text from Justin that Pierce fell from the playset ladder and hurt his arm. Carter and I booked it back home and Pierce was chillin' on the couch with Dre not moving his left arm. We packed up some goodies for the kids and headed to the Children's Hospital ER. They were great and took X-rays that were negative for any elbow or wrist fractures. After watching this little buddy not use or move his arm AT ALL for the next 24 hours I took him back to our pediatrician who then sent us to the orthopedic pediatric specialist. Poor buddy was fine if he didn't move it but the doctors wanted to keep manipulating it and he would burst out in tears. Lots of X-rays later they still aren't sure if he dislocated or fractured his elbow but put it in a splint to let it rest. We have an appointment in one week so hopefully a rest will do an elbow good:)
The pediatrician gave him the smallest sling I have ever seen. That lasted 10 minutes but the pic is a keeper!

Wait just a minute...is Sweet P just tricking me with that sling? P must heal quickly or he will only be able to eat Halloween candy with one fist! Perhaps he can incorporate the sling into his costume this year (even when hopefully healed). Aunt B loves you.
