San Diego...

Oh how I wish we could have one home in Colorado and one home in San Diego...life would be grand! And maybe a teleport machine to bypass the airport. We were blessed to spend another Labor Day in lovely Coronado with my Aunt Marcia and our friends Linda and Marv who live in Coronado.

We spent lots of time at the pool, took a "surrey" ride around the island, played for a short time in the sandy beach outside of the Hotel Del Coronado (It's historic so deserves a full name) and just enjoyed having consecutive days together as a family instead of trading work days back and forth.

We enjoyed hearing Pierce talk and sing himself to sleep each night with "Happy to you..." Birthday song rendition, we watched the 9:30 fireworks each night across the bay, checked out the coy fish that lived outside of our room and got a kick out of brother sister comments like, "Bubba, do you want to snuggle with me tonight?"

We miss you already San Diego!
Helping Daddy fill the beer cooler with ice
 Morning oatmeal and cartoons...
We went against the van this year, great choice. Pierce loved his middle seat...
Heaven..Dre is still not very fond of the beach and was over it in 30 minutes but we made the most of it and finished up with ice cream:)

Carter and I were jumping waves and running away from kelp globs, water baby!
My two favorite pics, siblings and the Del in the background

Post beach ice cream with Aunt Marcia..
Cookie Monster...
Justin was hanging with P during his nap so the kids and I took the "surrey" around the island for some treats
Twin love. With just these two at the pool its a real vacation. They are like little fish that entertain us and each other and you can have a beer in hand and enjoy the show! Dre and Carter were playing 'pet the shark' Oh twins...
Boys...we were walking back to our room and came upon a beetle on his back. Pierce got right down on his belly to check it out and Dre was next to him trying to get it flipped back over.
Stroll along the bay...
They have a few little beach areas along the bay, perfect to get your toes wet and sandy!

Apparently Turbo made it all the way to San Diego. There were plants and ponds outside of the room so it made for fun creature watching...
The view from the pool...paradise!
