First Roller Coaster Ride...

The last day we were in Indy we went to the Indianapolis Zoo with Manga and enjoyed the dolphin show, feeding the birds, watching the crazy penguins, feeding the giraffes, and and last but not least, we rode the roller coaster! I had to give a solo post to the roller coaster since it was quite the experience for Dre and Carter.

I told the kids they could pick one ride and they insisted that they wanted to do the roller coaster instead of the usual train or carousel. I watched it go around and while giving them the crooked/questioning eye I asked, "Are you sure?" They are all enough to ride but had to go with an adult so Manga and I hopped in with them. It's a short track that does two laps but gets up quite a bit of speed. The best part was when it was all over Carter looked at me and said, "Maybe we should have just done the train!" And then Dre leaned between the seats and told Carter, "We should never do that ever again Carter!"

When it was all said and done that evening Dre told us that the roller coaster was his favorite part of the zoo day:)
