One year in our home...

We closed on our house exactly one year ago tomorrow. God's timing for us to sell our condo while it was off the market and find this home couldn't have been any better! Our neighbors are great, we love our backyard "park", and there are always projects (big and small) that keep us busy. We are grateful for our two little helpers to keep those projects moving along.

These fake owls were left in the shed by the previous homeowners. Not only do they keep unwanted pests out of the garden, but they keep toddlers entertained for hours. Dre was digging up worms to feed the owls. Also ironic that Dre has on Carter's owl jammies. They are into wearing each others pj's and you just can't help but smile at Dre dressed in pink.

Next project, prep the upstairs rooms for texture. When we walked through this home we didn't notice that the previous owners had painted over wall paper in two of the bedrooms. This makes for an interesting time to repaint the room. Justin has started to mud the rooms and once we get the major blunders covered we're hoping with texture and paint you would never know!

This hole needed a special tools...

Dre's enjoying a sunny day on his bike in the driveway. Quite the array of accessories!
