Our friends Jamie and Cade drove in from Oklahoma with their 18 month old Quinn for a quick weekend visit. We tried to pack as much as possible into two days. We took them to the Denver Zoo, a local park, Jamie and I got away for some much needed shopping, and Cade and Justin even got to go on a "man date" to watch UFC fights with some co-workers. The kids loved to run around with Quinn and we had to stop saying, "He's little you guys, you need to share." we had to change it to, "he's younger than you..." since Quinn is about as tall as our almost three year olds!
Denver Zoo...
We spent the most time just watching those silly gorillas. Their human like characteristics never cease to amaze me.
The lions must have know Quinn was coming so they got up close and personal. We have never seen them this close...

The train and the carousel...two of the favs at the zoo! Quinn lasted about 30 seconds and decided the ride was not for him.
