We had some unexpected drainage issues last spring in our new home that caused water to seep into our basement. We had a good friend come to look at our current landscape and give us ideas for improved drainage and plants for the spring. Phase one involved pulling back the current rock and plastic and backfill with dirt to push the water away from our foundation. Justin was able to take a couple days off of work and with the help of friends and family we were able to complete the job. We're keeping our fingers crossed that the water will stay out of our basement and look forward to planting in the spring.
Dre was in dirt heaven with this pile in our driveway!

Justin and his friend trying to figure out how this stump and cable wires became so intertwined.

The finished project. One of those necessary but not so glamourous jobs.
