Oh Christmas Tree

We didn't join the Toms this year for the annual trip to Winter Park to cut down the family Christmas tree but they were kind enough to cut one for us and haul it back to Golden. The tree was about 5 feet too tall which made for lots of great laughs and quotes from the movie Christmas Vacation.

Ray and Justin gave it a few hacks with the saw and put it up Saturday evening. Sunday morning the kids weren't quite sure what to think of having a tree in the living room and Dre would just look at it, make his sign for "bird" and tweet at the tree. They helped us decorate the tree and every time we walk in the door they sign "light" to turn on the tree lights. Other than that they don't really even pay much attention to it. Those fresh trees sure do smell good! Thanks Ray and Sherry!

Who needs mistletoe when you can just kiss under the step ladder?

Lots of extra branches for garland. Carter enjoyed watching Dad work while she stayed warm inside.

Santa's helpers

My how they've grown in one year!

I love your Christmas Tree, and it's decorated beautifully! Looks like you had lots of helpers... the more the merrier! I can't believe that the little ones don't bother the tree, Rebecca tries and tries to get to ours. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!! XOXO Roberts Family
