Dre has been attached to his Soothie from day one while Carter grew fond of her pacifier only after we got rid of their bottles. So getting rid of those little green things was no easy task! We started keeping them only in bed then last week we just took them away cold turkey. The first night it took them one hour of crying to fall asleep without their pacifiers and the next day's nap was just as painful. Then day two was a breakthrough and we've never looked back. I'm just happy to not have to look all over the condo for lost pacifiers. Thanks to Justin for lying to me and telling me that he threw them away when I was ready to give in after all that crying!
