Share a laugh with me...

Last night the kids and I had a great evening while Justin was finishing up at work. It was just before bath time so I stripped them down to their diapers, put them in their chairs, and let them get messy with a dinner of sweet potatoes and spaghetti. Grandma and Grandpa joined us on the web cam. In the mean time Carter was pooing in her diaper and I thought, "perfect, now she won't poo in the tub like she did Monday!" Oh was I wrong...

I was looking forward to relaxing by the side of the tub and singing them songs while they soaked in the warm water. We just got settled in the tub and Carter did the big lean forward, grunt, and then SURPRISE! Abandon ship is what I yelled after "oh s**t!" I pulled them both back out to the side of the tub dripping wet while I scurried for something to scoop up the poo. I grabbed the Dale Jr. cup I use to clean the bathroom (sorry Eric!) and just as I'm cleaning out the tub Carter is squatting at the side and pooing right on the bathroom floor. I clean up the pile, throw a diaper on her and finish cleaning out the tub with Comet. In the mean time Dre is shivering at the side of the tub wondering what just happened.

I filled the tub back up, set Dre in the water and then took Carter's diaper off and before I lifted her in the tub she peed on the floor! I just had to laugh at the whole wild 2 minutes and they laughed along with me, showing their gummy/two-bottom teeth smiles. No day is ever the same and I wouldn't have it any other way!
