Lil Man Pierce- 18 Months

My how time flies! Here we are a year and a half later and still madly in love with this little man. Here's what Pierce is up to these days...

*He's at that age where he understands way more than he can verbalize so we get a lot of random yells and "uh-oh's"
*He is enamored by vacuums. We were in the driveway when he heard a neighbor vacuuming out their car and pointed over and looked up at me and smiled this gushy, sweet smile. Did I mention we have to hide our vacuums?
*He's a go with the flow kind of guy. I guess as a third child who is on everybody else's schedule that's just how it has to be. He knows where the kids school is located so every time we are in the vicinity he yells, "BUBBA!"
*Pierce is an outdoor man. When we had a couple days of snow on the ground he stood at the front door and with his hands made the sign for "all done"...he was over being inside!
*He loves when music is on and wants to dance in your arms or throw up the praise hand and bounce up and down.
*He's catching onto the fact that everybody has a belly button. I figured since he was so into his "pee-pee" he wouldn't really care but now he will run up to you and lift up your shirt and say, "bee-bee" (which actually sounds like baby so I remind people to not be offended:)) and then he sticks his finger in your belly button and laughs. Quite comical. He will also lift up the back of my shirt and get confused when he can't find that bee-bee. Still learning.
*He loves dogs and animals. We took him to the zoo recently and turns out his favorite animal was the goose. Could have cared less about the monkey's swinging around or giraffes eating the branches.
When you take his picture he yells, "eese!"
*He goes to bed around 6:30 and sleeps until 6 in the morning. Wakes up happy and ready to start his morning chores with daddy. Lately he's been napping for 3 hours but I'm sure that will change as all things tend to do.
*He's climbing up on everything and we're losing our space to keep things away from his little hands.
*We have his 18 month visit with his favorite PA Anne so we will update the "stats" soon. After all, blogging is my baby book.
18 month stats
25lb 9.6 oz
34 inches

Here's Carter and Dre attempting to put on P's socks and shoes, he make them work for it!

When Mama is at work Daddy beings the Indy Car lessons. Never to early to start!
Look at this prince being pushed around the living room. He was quite content to have Carter motor him around for awhile.
Self feeding makes us all smile. Greek yogurt is one of his favorites and he manages to get it everywhere and then of course yell, "UH-OH!"

He sure has grown a lot since last May... he probably won't remember me, but I can't wait to see him and all the new things he can do! I hope by the end of the week he will "know" his Aunt Erin :-)
