A Random Collection of sorts...

This little buddy loves to roll onto his back from sitting and just sway his big dogs in the air. It's a miracle to see him still for this long!

Dre and Carter love to push each other in this dumptruck in the driveway.  When they're headed back toward the garage they push the truck as hard as they can toward the wall and the person inside stops themselves by putting their feet up on the garage wall. Pierce decided he wanted to give this game a try. The kids were good about pushing him slowly but when they wanted a turn again he burst into tears, he loved playing their game!

Not long after Justin or I sit at the table to eat Pierce comes running and yelling, "Up, up!" So this little man who will eat anything loves to just sit and graze on whatever is offered. He's not into sharing utensils either!

I had heard of finger knitting from my friend who inspired me to knit. Since Carter's little twin friend Claire was turning 5 and always commented that she wanted me to teach her to knit, we decided to buy her a finger knitting kit. I bought the kids some yarn so we could learn as well and teach Claire Bear. Didn't take this little lady long to catch on. Dre was a tougher sell since he just wants to do it all on his own and isn't fond of me "teaching" him.

This is our sweet twin friend Claire. She and her brother Liam turned 5 today, WOW! She had a sleepover and invited 5 little girls so Carter went to her first sleepover this past weekend. She was thrilled and will still talk about it as long as you'll let her. The sweetest part was how much Dre missed Carter. He would constantly ask, "Mom, do you think Carter is eating now? Mom, do you think Carter is sleeping now?" And then he told us, "I don't want to sleep by myself tonight!" So he brought up his peapod tent and camped out in our bedroom. First thing his asked the next morning was, "Do you think Carter is waking up?" Justin's response, "You are such a twin!!"

oh Shannon, thank you for this post. You do such the job of sharing the daily memories we miss. Pierce = too big and what a boy joy. Twins = they live and breath each other, and of course Dre is so sensitive (like Gbear at that age). I hope the twins will teach me finger knitting in May with black and white yarn!xo Aunt B
