The finished product...

After hours and hours of angle grinding and brick dust in every orifice possible....it's done. Through 5 layers of paint...3 white, one red, and one lime green (what!!??) we found beautiful brick. Put on a mantle and we have a place for stockings! This project has started talks of hardwood floors, accordion glass doors, and repainted walls. I may actually start to like this level of our tri-level home!
