The Westgard clan just moved back to Vail this past year and we love having them close by! The kids enjoyed the day in Vail and visiting with Eli "daddy dog" and Walter "the baby dog." Their dogs may be about the same age but since Eli is as big as a bear you can see their point. We took their bikes so they could cruise through Vail Village and we enjoyed a nice dinner and of course ice cream! A trip to the mountains in the summertime is like heaven on earth!

The creek was running fast and high but there were still a few kayakers braving the water.

They're tough to keep up with anymore on their balance bikes!
