Dear Carter Lee,
You have a way of brightening my day like I could never have imagined. Your crazy outfits of bibs and boots on the wrong feet make me laugh out loud and it just warms my soul. On days that we don't see eye to eye and my patience is running low, let God remind how blessed I am to be your mommy. And also let him remind me how my strong spirited toddler will some day turn into a wise independent woman. I love you more than you can imagine and every day I look forward to sharing in your new adventures.

Welcome to motherhood,of course you are on the fast track X2.
From birth to ? (at least from my experience 30 yrs) your children will test you with their strong will to be independent. At different ages...situations...importance. Some times it's a good thing (and you are so proud) then there are other times (when you don't think the same).
I am sending you lots of understanding and love...enough for you to handle the trying times with both of your sweet toddlers! Continue to see the humor...like you always do. Stay positive! And you are right, Carter will grow up to be a happy independent young lady

Love the photos of the new house! Congrats! Your babies are just too darn sweet, and I love reading about them and what they have been up to. I think Carter and Kate may be joined in personalities...Kate seems just as independent as Carter! Love it!
