Dreyton and Carter turn ONE on Saturday so Justin and I thought we would share with you all the challenges and joys we have faced during this wonderful first year. Lately we have been both saying, "Remember when..."
Remember when we were up every 45 minutes with one of the babies and so sleep deprived? Now they sleep through the night!
Remember when they were in the NICU and we would cringe when the nurses would draw blood from their heels every 3 hours to monitor blood sugar levels? Now they are running around on the balcony and skinning their knees on the cement regularly!
Remember when Carter had an IV placed in her head and we called it her first bow? Now she looks so cute in those girly bows but won't keep them in more than 10 seconds.
Remember when they were just born and people would comment that we were so lucky to have twins and they must play so well together? (as infants!) Now they are always following each other around the house and laugh at one another constantly!
Remember when taking a shower was a luxury? Now they love to run in and out of the bathroom and bang on the shower door with all their toys.
What did we do before kids? Were we bored? Now we have a complete Rossetter family and we are blessed daily by those sweet babies!
Remember when we celebrated our first anniversary out to eat when the babies were only 3 weeks old? Now we can actually remember what we ate and enjoy the special occasion! May God continue to bless our marriage so it can be the strength of this family!

congrats to you all on your happy family! hope we get to meet up in indy! safe travels...
Remember when you called to tell us you were expecting...and having twins! We could feel your excitement.
Remember the long labor day(and next day)....but how amazing it was!
Remember how proud Justin was of Shannon....and still is!
Remember how fatherly Justin sounded when he called to say....he had a son and a daughter...Dreyton looked "all boy" and Carter "Mom, she is so cute"!
Remember the day you brought Carter home, you were all together again....and how perfectly those sweet babies filled your lives!
Remember....and enjoy them!
