The sun is out so you know what that means, DRESSES and SHORTS! Carter and I went to the Carter's store this weekend to stock up on summer outfits for her and Dreyton. Boys clothes are cute but I can't get enough of those cute summer dresses! Carter is now stocked up on dresses with those cute little underpants that go over the diaper. Grandma bought her a Valentine's ladybug dress and we've been waiting for the weather to cooperate so we could show it off.
Dreyton has been sick with high temps, bilateral ear infections and more recently a rash over his head, neck, and trunk (most likely roseola). They aren't too worried about the rash and don't think it's an allergic reaction to the meds so we're just keeping a close eye on him. He was finally playing today and had a little smile on his face. Lots of sleeping today and hopefully we'll have a healthy little guy soon! He was laying on the ground in the living room and Carter kneeled beside him and patted him on the stomach. One of those sweet moments I wish I had the camera!

love the cute summer clothes! i will miss buying dresses and bows for baby strack - the boys stuff just can't compare. i love the needy/independent description of carter. i think that she and ellabeth must have a lot in common! hope that dre feels all better soon and that nobody else gets sick!
