Justin and Dre were left in the dust as Carter and I joined my mom, aunt Sally, cousin Courtney, and aunt Marcia in sunny San Diego for our first girls weekend. We stayed at Marcia's apartment on Coronado and enjoyed the beautiful sunny 70 degree days and took many walks by the ocean and bay. Carter was such a trooper and was so patient when we went out to dinners and strolled her all around Pacific Beach. We say she was on her best behavior to make sure she got the invite for next year. Marcia's place faces the bay side and we happened to be there for the festivities of the new navy ship USS George H W Bush so we enjoyed quite a fireworks display from her balcony. Wow, we are a little jealous of your trip to the beach... New York is freezing and icy! It looks like you girls had a really good time (and had great weather). The pictures of Carter on the beach are SO cute. We are very happy it was a successful weekend for you.
